Within the framework of a working visit to Ukraine, a delegation of German firefighters from the land of Saxony St. Florian-Veg arrived, headed by a Doctor of Security Sciences, a graduate engineer, Head of the Emergency Department at the School of Fire Protection and Emergencies - Jeans Muller and Grigory Zohr - chief teacher, specialist of the emergency rescue squad, paramedic.
During the conversation, German colleagues were acquainted with the main tasks related to the sphere of responsibility of the SES of Ukraine, and discussed possible ways of developing professional relations and diverse cooperation.
Rescuers in turn told the German guests about the specifics of the Ukrainian fire brigade. Speaking with rescuers, German colleagues discussed with Ukrainian specialists the peculiarities of actions at the site of an emergency and promised to facilitate deepening of direct contacts between rescuers, updating and building up of the material and technical base in the divisions.
Instead, the Ukrainian specialists of the Rescue Service were interested in the organization and operation of the voluntary fire brigade in Germany, which readily shared guests.
During his stay in the unit, German colleagues held with the rescuers practical lessons on the use of engineering equipment that was recently received from the fellow colleagues in the fire brigade during the provision of special assistance.
In accordance with the program of the trip, the German firefighters met with the Deputy Head of the Zolotonosha district state administration, studied in detail the special-purpose emergency rescue unit, as well as with the local fire brigade and fire and rescue unit in Zolotonosha.
