On the eve of the second round of presidential elections, rescuers check the safety of polling stations

On April 21, the second round of the presidential election will take place. In order to provide an adequate level of voters safety, SESU inspectors throughout the country conduct additional trainings with the heads of polling stations on compliance with the requirements of legislation in the field of technogenic and fire safety. So, in Odessa Oblast, the relevant event took place at the Tarutino district state administration. SESU workers conducted a practical training session on the use of fire extinguishers, and reminded the actions of the staff in case of a fire. In addition, in order to increase the readiness of the units in case of emergencies and fires at facilities that will be used during the elections, relevant tactical and special exercises are held throughout the country.
In particular, this week, rescuers of Shchastia, Lisichansk Towns and Novoaydarsk district of Luhansk oblast worked on actions in the premises of polling stations to eliminate conditional fire, rescue and provision of medical assistance to the affected, and actions in case of disconnection of electricity supply at the polling station.
At the same time, in Kramatorsk, employees of the 12th State Fire and Rescue unit of the Main Department of the SESU of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast, together with representatives of emergency medical care, conducted tactical training in the Kramatorsk City Council building, where it is planned to place the district election commission. Such work is carried out in each region of the country in order to provide all participants of the election process with safe conditions for the expression of their will.
