On February 1, the representatives of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH visited Cherkassy Institute of Fire Safety named after the Chernobyl Heroes of National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine NTCU Ukraine, the priority of which is cooperation with the SES of Ukraine.
Within the framework of the project of the German Society for International Emergencies, GIZ "Support to Ukraine in Emergency Management", an extremely necessary set of modern rescue equipment that was to be used during exercises to eliminate the consequences of traffic accidents, and without exaggeration, will help the students of the institute to reduce the time of assistance and make their work more effective.
Chief of the Cherkassy Institute of Fire Safety Oleksandr Tyshchenko, responsible for economic cooperation at the German Embassy in Kiev Tobias Schrader, Director of the Project "Initiatives of the Infrastructure Program for Ukraine" Uwe Stumpf and Head of the project "Support to Ukraine in Emergency Management" Christian Poshmann, took part in the event.
The cadets of the institute immediately tried the equipment transferred to work: hydraulic racks and pumping stations, jacks, pneumatic pillow, etc. Skills of kadets were demonstrated by the cynological calculations of the educational institution.
Also, the guests visited the contemporary audiences of the institude and got acquainted with the museum's exposition.
