The document was signed by Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov on behalf of the Government of Ukraine and Delphin Zheni-Stefan, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of France.

"We will receive a whole pool of helicopters for a very good price in three and a half years, which will provide a new system of security of the country," Arsen Avakov emphasized.

The minister stressed that new helicopters will help solve the issue of sanitary aviation, will evacuate people in the mountains, during fires and floods. In addition, special 10-ton helicopters will be used to extinguish fires.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Oleksiy Takhtay noted that the purpose of this project is to create one of the best security services and operational assistance for the population.

"Among the main tasks of the new unified aviation security and civil protection system: rescue and public order, criminal investigations, antiterrorist and special missions, state border guard, road safety.
