In order to improve skills in the correct organization of reconnaissance, identification, assessment of circumstances and the solution of the sequence of operational actions in finding explosive objects, the Rescue Service regularly participates in classes as close as possible to real conditions. Such measures help pyrotechnicians to act more confidently in case of emergencies.
Thus, with the support of the European Union on the territory of Ukraine a joint project of the SES of Ukraine and the representative office of HALO TRUST in Ukraine "Humanitarian mine action in eastern Ukraine" is being implemented. , factors influencing the choice of methods and techniques of demining in certain areas, the procedure for developing plans for demining, preparation of documentation for the demining area, management of work at the demining site, effective distribution of forces in preparing elements of the demining area, organization of interaction with non-technical inspection team, primary marking of the demining area, etc.
Similar classes from the organization HALO Trust continued throughout the current year. During the exercises, the knowledge and experience of HALO trainers on all aspects of Humanitarian Mine Action in Eastern Ukraine were passed on to SES officers. This project helped to unite the efforts of the state and international experts in order to increase the efficiency of the mine action sector on the way to a safe mine-free Ukraine.
