Rescuers urge citizens not to provoke fires at home!

Unfortunately, household fires are common. Through their own negligence and disregard for basic fire regulations, citizens endanger their own lives and health, as well as their homes and property. The worst thing is that one person may suffer because of the irresponsibility of one person - family members, neighbors or cohabitants of an apartment building.

Therefore, the implementation of preventive measures in the housing sector by specialists of the Rescue Service is an important and necessary step in the fight against fires at home.

So, on October 24 in the Kirovohrad area experts of the Novgorodkovsky regional sector of the State Emergency Service in area carried out the next preventive measures in housing sector. Rescuers distributed leaflets among the residents of the village of Novgorodka, dedicated to the topic of fire safety in the home and the rules of operation of the furnace heating. Firefighters explained to citizens how to prevent fire accidents and stressed that the negligence of the owners in matters of safety during the heating of the house can cost them property, housing and even family life. In particular, rescuers drew citizens' attention to the safety of children, urging them not to endanger their lives and health due to adult neglect.

On October 23, in the Kherson region, Holopristan emergency workers conducted a preventive raid among citizens and reminded them of the main reasons for fires in the residential sector, namely: careless handling of fire, smoking while intoxicated, violation of fire safety rules during operation of furnace and gas heating. Communicating with citizens, firefighters called to be careful and responsible for the implementation of simple rules of fire safety in everyday life.

Meanwhile, SES fighters from Lviv Region held preventive talks in Busk and Stryj districts. They talked to the residents of the settlements and reminded them of the basic rules of fire safety in the home and the causes of fires in homes. In addition, residents of the region were told how to act in case of an emergency. Warning cards were handed out to keep people in touch for as long as possible.

At the same time, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, Dolyna rescuers conducted a comprehensive training in the residential sector of the village of Yavoriv. The firefighters talked to the residents of the region and reminded them of the basic rules of life safety. They also stressed the proper maintenance of the fire condition of the apartments, handed people commemorative leaflets of a warning nature.
