On October 15, a new unit of firefighters began combat duty for the first time in the village of Velykyi Zhvanchyk, Dunayevets district.
The grand opening of the newly created local fire brigade took place with the participation of the leadership of the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Khmelnytsky oblast, district and local authorities, honored guests and the public. This is the first local fire brigade that will operate on the territory of the Dunaevets city united territorial community from today. Currently, there are a total of 4 local fire brigades in the district, as well as a network of voluntary fire protection in 38 settlements of the district.
The staff of the newly created local fire brigade unit consists of 8 people who will be on round-the-clock duty and will provide prompt response to possible emergencies and events in the territory of 9 settlements of the community, which are part of the departure area.
