This is not the first time that the rescuers of the capital have received help from German colleagues.
So, today, firefighters of the 4th State Fire and Rescue Unit within the framework of the international technical assistance project received a new fire truck from the German Society for International Cooperation GIZ. The car is intended for delivery to the place of fire of personnel, fire extinguishing means, fire-technical and emergency-rescue equipment. It is used to extinguish fires with water and air-mechanical foam, as well as for emergency rescue operations.
"We are confident that this car will help the capital's rescuers to perform their work more efficiently and help firefighters in emergency rescue operations, emergency response and firefighting," said Deputy Chief of the Main Department of SES of Ukraine in Kyiv Viacheslav Kyselyov.
