On March 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine aimed at Preventing the Occurrence and Spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)”.
The law states that during the quarantine or restrictive measures associated with the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), in particular:
it is forbidden to carry out state supervision (control) activities of the state supervision (control) in the sphere of economic activity;
from the day of the quarantine announcement, the time limit for applying for administrative and other services and the terms of providing these services, determined by law, ceases. From the date of termination of the quarantine, the period of these periods shall continue, taking into account the time elapsed before its termination;
In this regard, the administrative services provided by the SES of Ukraine (registration of the declaration of compliance of the material and technical base of economic entities with the requirements of the legislation on fire safety, the issuance of licenses for the provision of services and performance of firefighting services, certification of emergency services and rescuers) will be provided taking into account the features defined by this law.
In addition, in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, in the administrative building of the SES of Ukraine, as in general in all territorial units, during the quarantine, temporary admission of citizens was temporarily suspended and the admission of visitors to the territory was restricted.
