Luhansk oblast: the first stage of this year's humanitarian demining program has ended
Practical measures to survey sites of the terrain and to free the territory from explosive objects continue in Severodonetsk district. The first phase of this work, supported by the Danish Refugee Council/Danish Demining Group, has now been completed. Since the beginning of the implementation of this year's program, more than 1.64 hectares of territory have been surveyed (demined).
Prykarpattia rescuers received a new fire truck
Today, Nadvirna district is getting reinforced by a fire and rescue vehicle for fire-fighting and rescue operations - the special vehicle AC-850 on MAN chassis that was purchased under the “Joint protection of people and environment through the creation of Ukrainian-Polish system of disasters prevention and response in the Carpathian Euroregion” Project of the European Neighbourhood Instrument Cross-Border Cooperation "Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2014-2020".

A two-day working meeting of rescuers and GIZ representatives in Ukraine took place in Donetsk oblast
The working meetings took place in Donetsk oblast under the project “Support to state and municipal emergency management in Eastern Ukraine” with the participation of representatives of the German Society for International Cooperation Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and the Deputy Director of the Department - Head of the division of special equipment and special vehicles of the Department of resource support of the SES of Ukraine Oleksandr Vaskovskyi.
SES communicators deepen knowledge of working with social networks during fires and emergencies
On May 6, the final training session for the third group of SES specialists on working with social networks during firefighting and emergencies took place. The online seminar was attended by heads of departments responsible for working with the media and public relations, as well as deputy heads of the Main Departments of the SES for emergency response.
The event was called "Social Networks ... Think Before You Write" and was conducted by experts from the US Forest Service. For convenience and better perception of information, the participants of the online seminar were divided into 3 groups.
