Operative Information as of September 12, 2019

During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 2838 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 7 persons rescued, 140 buildings and 4 vehicles saved.

Vinnytsia Oblast

A fire took place in the dry grass in the technical territory of the 48th military depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with sporadic detonation of munitions at 11.36hrs September 11. The fire was extinguished in the area 1,5 hectares at 15.15hrs. There were neither victims nor injured reported. There were 287 persons and 42 vehicles, including 112 personnel and 26 vehicles from the SES of Ukraine engaged in fire fighting.

Kyiv Oblast

A fire took place in the forest cover close to Novi Sokoly village of Ivankiv district in the territory of Dymarske forestry at 12.25hrs September 11.

As of 07.00hrs September 12, the burnt area is around 11 hectares. There are no sources of open fire. There are sporadic sources of glowing. There were neither victims nor injured reported. There were 101 persons and 26 vehicles, including 41 personnel and 7 vehicles from the SES of Ukraine engaged in fire fighting. The SES aviation performed 26 water droppings (114 tons). Operational group from the Main Department of Kyiv oblast has been working in the site.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
