During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 2071 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 11 persons rescued, 117 buildings and 9 vehicles saved.

Uncategorized Emergencies

Odesa oblast

During September 1-2, 30 persons (including 5 children) were admitted to the Odessa City Infectious Diseases Hospital with signs of foodborne infection after eating shawarma in Anangard village of Ovidiopol district. As of 7.00hrs September 3 there are still remain hospitalized 18 persons (including 4 children). A set of anti-epidemic measures is being carried out.

Khmelnitska oblast

A fire of two grain depots took place on the territory of Starokonstantinovsky elevator of PJSC “DPZKU” in Starokonstantinov town at 03.56hrs, September 3. The SES units  extinguished fire at 05.40hrs. There were neither victims nor injured reported. The fire destroyed 2 empty grain warehouses on an area of 1100 m2, saved 3 nearby warehouses. 25 persons and 7 vehicles, including 11 persons and 4 vehicles from SES engaged in firefighting.
