Operative Information as of June 20, 2019

During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 1985 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 9 persons rescued, 46 buildings and 8 vehicles saved.

Lviv oblast

As of 07.00hrs June 20, 28 persons among them 8 children, who on June 14 have been eating in “Ozon” restaurant in Kamianka-Buzka Town, are still staying in Kamianka-Buzka district central hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of toxic infection. A complex of sanitary-hygienic and anti-epidemic measures is carried out.

 

Luhansk Oblast

As of 07.00hrs June 20, 25 persons among them 22 children, who during 15-17 of June have been resting on the “Malibu” beach and swiming in Pisochne lake in Rubizhne town, are still staying in hospital with preliminary diagnosis of acute gastroenterocolitis. A complex of sanitary-hygienic and anti-epidemic measures is carried out.

 

Flooding in Some oblasts of Ukraine

Kherson oblast

On June 13, heavy rains resulted in flooding of 252 households including 69 living houses in Nova Maiachka village of Oleshky district.

As of 07.00hrs of June 20, 120 households including 3 living houses remain flooded. The water level is gradually decreasing.

There were 53 persons and 15 vehicles including 41 persons and 11 vehicles from the SES of Ukraine engaged in water pumping operation. During the day 9 300 cubic meters of water (overall since the beginning of works – 108 000 cubic meters) were pumped out.

A temporary metal pipe line was installed (diameter 150mm) to ensure removal of the pumped water out from the village.

 

Lviv oblast

During June 17, following intensive precipitations there were 68 households (including 18 living houses) flooded in three settlements of Pustomytiv and Mykolaiv districts .

As of 07.00hrs June 20, 20 back yards in Krynnytsya village of Mykolaiv district remain flooded. The water level is gradually decreasing.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
