For the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 1874 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 4 persons rescued, 137 buildings and 13 vehicles saved.

Harsh Weather Conditions in Some Oblasts of Ukraine

As a result of harsh weather conditions (wind gusts) and because of automatic electricity protection system, 47 towns in 5 oblasts lost electricity supply namely: 19 towns in Lviv oblast, 12 towns in Kyiv oblast, 12 towns in Zhytomyr oblast, 3 towns in Luhansk oblast and 1 in Chernivtsi oblast. There were local oblenergo repair teams engaged in repair works.

1 child (2008 year of birth) died in Vinnytsia oblast as a result of the tree fall. 1 person (1935 year of birth) was injured in Odesa city as a result of the destruction of part of the wall of a new building. The fall of the the metal water tower (was under construction) took place in Ivanivka village, Terebovlyansky district, Ternopil oblast.

As a result of the wind gusts, in 5 oblasts there were damaged 75 roofs of residential and social buildings (108 were damaged, 33 were restored), namely: 66 in Lviv oblast (99 were damaged, 33 were restored), 4 in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, 2 in Ternopil oblast, 2 in Vinnitsa oblast and 1 in Odessa oblast.

During the day, units of the SESU removed more than 100 fallen trees.

420 personnel and 114 vehicles, including 270 personnel and 64 vehicles from the SES of Ukraine are engaged to eliminate the consequences of harsh weather conditions.

Local authorities are taking measures to assist the population and eliminate the consequences of harsh weather conditions.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.

 

Events related to the electoral process

There was no information about emergencies, fires and hazardous events related to the electoral campaign and elections of the President of Ukraine in 2019.
