During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 1219 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 3 persons rescued, 75 buildings saved, and 10 vehicles saved.

Zakarpattia Oblast

On November 30 at 13.14hrs collision of a car and a truck occurred on the H-09 Mukachevo-Lviv highway near Lalovo village of Mukachevo district that resulted in a death of 5 persons, including 2 children (2007 year of birth). Operational group of the Department of the SES of Ukraine in Zakarpattia Oblast worked in the site.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs December 1, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 745123 and 12548 persons died, namely: Kyiv city – 72277 (1323 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 55702 (755 persons died), Lviv oblast – 46891 (1255 persons died), Odesa oblast – 45838 (585 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 39659 (902 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 38528 (691 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 37017 (647 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 33942 (650 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 31608 (318 persons died), Rivne oblast – 31283 (390 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 30100 (503 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 29751 (442 persons died), Sumy oblast – 29627 (371 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 29751 (383 persons died), Volyn oblast – 24483 (437 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 23590 (208 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 23438 (536 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 23157 (408 persons died), Poltava oblast – 22763 (494 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 18985 (313 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 18717 (91 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 17569 (294 persons died), Kherson oblast – 10371 (215 persons died), Luhansk oblast – 6350 (171 persons died), and Kirovohrad oblast – 5382 (166 persons died).

355172 persons were discharged after treatment (Kharkiv oblast – 33583, Lviv oblast – 29888, Rivne oblast – 24015, Kyiv city – 23252, Ternopil oblast – 22055, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 19857, Zhytomyr oblast – 19421, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 17254, Volyn oblast – 16743, Chernivtsi oblast – 15439, Zakarpattia oblast – 14114, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 13792, Kyiv oblast – 12880, Donetsk oblast –12280, Poltava oblast – 12026, Sumy oblast – 11120, Vinnytsia oblast – 9802, Cherkasy oblast – 9696, Odesa oblast – 9488, Chernihiv oblast – 6265, Mykolaiv oblast – 5734, Zaporizhia oblast – 5313, Kherson oblast – 4743, Luhansk oblast – 4075, and Kirovohrad oblast – 2337).

Harsh Weather Conditions in Some Oblasts of Ukraine

On December 1 as a result of harsh weather conditions (wind gusts) and because of automatic electricity protection systems, there were 56 towns in three oblasts left without electricity supply, namely: Sumy oblast – 39 towns, Odesa oblast – 16 towns and Donetsk oblast – 1 town. Local electricity supply repair teams have been engaged to repair works.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
