During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 1017 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 5 persons rescued, 109 buildings saved, and 9 vehicles saved.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs November 23, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 635689 and 11075 persons died, namely: Kyiv city – 60218 (1142 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 51637 (703 persons died), Lviv oblast – 41279 (1150 persons died), Odesa oblast – 37901 (513 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 32296 (571 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 31369 (606 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 31212 (626 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 29654 (758 persons died), Rivne oblast – 28194 (356 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 26966 (449 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 26430 (400 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 25813 (351 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 24442 (246 persons died), Sumy oblast – 23167 (299 persons died), Volyn oblast – 21864 (398 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 21538 (507 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 20262 (359 persons died), Poltava oblast – 18557 (381 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 18292 (168 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 15476 (268 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 15320 (274 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 15061 (91 persons died), Kherson oblast – 8704 (181 persons died), Luhansk oblast – 5679 (138 persons died) and Kirovohrad oblast – 4358 (140 persons died).

291060 persons were discharged after treatment (Lviv oblast – 26874, Kharkiv oblast – 22532, Kyiv city – 20744, Rivne oblast – 20572, Ternopil oblast – 19946, Zhytomyr oblast – 14890, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 14590, Volyn oblast – 14188 Chernivtsi oblast – 13743, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 12809, Zakarpattia oblast – 11863, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 11798, Kyiv oblast – 11218, Donetsk oblast – 9211, Poltava oblast – 9145, Vinnytsia oblast – 8763, Odesa oblast – 8729 , Sumy oblast – 8485, Cherkasy oblast – 8093, Chernihiv oblast – 5315, Mykolaiv oblast – 4871, Zaporizhia oblast – 3745, Kherson oblast – 3714, Luhansk oblast – 3152, and Kirovohrad oblast – 2070).

Local Elections

As of 07.00hrs, November 23, there were no emergencies, fires or dangerous incidents at the facilities, involved in the elections.

At 18.35hrs on November 22 two polling stations (№ 461967 and №462159) on 6 Sukhomlinskoho Street (secondary school №29) in Vinnyky city of Lviv oblast were de-energized. The SES unit (4 personnel and a vehicle) installed a lighting tower and with the help of two power plants promptly provided power supply. The election process was not suspended. The power supply was restored by emergency crew of Oblenergo at 19.10hrs. 8167 personnel and 2187 vehicles, including 10 aircrafts, were engaged to ensure fire safety at the facilities involved in the elections.

In connection with the counting of votes, 32 personnel of the SES continues to be on duty (Dnipropetrovsk ‑ 9, Mykolaiv ‑ 4, Odesa ‑ 4, Cherkasy ‑ 4, Ivano-Frankivsk ‑ 3, Zakarpattia ‑ 2, Kirovohrad ‑ 2, Poltava ‑ 2, Zaporizhzhya ‑ 1 and Rivne ‑ 1).

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
