During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions,
963 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 9 persons rescued, 66 buildings and 9 vehicles saved.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs October 26, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 348924 and 6464 persons died, namely: Kyiv city – 34362 (699 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 33250 (495 persons died), Lviv oblast – 27608 (783 persons died), Odesa oblast – 22179 (333 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 19728 (437 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 19261 (241 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 18590 (416 persons died), Rivne oblast – 17730 (222 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 14845 (335 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 13482 (203 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 13144 (353 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 13144 (315 persons died), Volyn oblast – 12403 (247 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 12533 (210 persons died), Sumy oblast – 10605 (153 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 9401 (166 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 8701 (87 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 8147 (86 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 8132 (97 persons died), Poltava oblast – 8056 (153 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 7971 (87 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 7069 (133 persons died), Kherson oblast – 3236 (70 persons died), Luhansk oblast – 3233 (61 persons died) and Kirovohrad oblast – 2114 (82 persons died).

142537 persons were discharged after treatment (Ternopil oblast – 14223, Rivne oblast – 13417, Kyiv city – 11749, Lviv oblast – 10741, Chernivtsi oblast – 10038, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 9177, Kyiv oblast – 7683, Volyn oblast – 7042, Zhytomyr oblast – 6495, Kharkiv oblast – 6311, Zakarpattia oblast – 5980, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 5882, Vinnytsia oblast – 5724, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 5294, Cherkasy oblast – 3473, Sumy oblast – 3347, Odesa oblast – 3272, Poltava oblast – 2762, Zaporizhia oblast – 1867, Mykolaiv oblast – 1702, Donetsk oblast – 1426, Chernihiv oblast – 1423, Kherson oblast – 1328, Kirovohrad oblast – 1118 and Luhansk oblast – 1063).

Local Elections

During October 25, there were anonymous messages received about assumed placement of explosives in 13 polling stations in Vinnytsia (6), Odesa (4), Dnipropetrovsk (2), and Kyiv (1) oblasts. There were 28 personnel and 7 vehicles were involved from the SES, including a pyrotechnic team. The messages were not double checked and refuted.

When night time dropped 23 polling stations lost electricity supply in Vinnytsia (6), Zaporizhia (3), Lviv (3), Kherson (3), Ivano-Frankivsk (3), Dnipropetrovsk (1), Zakarpattya (1), Donetsk (1), Kharkiv (1), and Kyiv (1) oblasts.

The SES units provided electric generators and ensured electricity supply. There were 50 personnel and 12 vehicle engaged from the SES.

As of 07.00hrs October 26, there are two polling stations and a territorial electoral commission supplied with electric generators by the SES units in Novytsia village of Kalush district in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast.

As voting ballots are being counted, there have been 1679 personnel from the SES continue their duty in the polling stations.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
