Operative Information as of July 30, 2020

During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions,
1955 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 13 persons rescued, 70 buildings and 10 vehicles saved.

Harsh Weather Conditions

As of 07.00hrs July 30, as a result of harsh weather conditions (rain, thunderstorm, wind gusts) and because of automatic electricity protection system, 52 towns in 5 oblasts are left without electricity supply namely: Chernihiv oblast – 23 towns, Rivne oblast – 13 towns, Sumy oblast – 10 towns, Volyn oblast – 3 towns and Chernivtsi oblast – 3 towns. Local oblenergo repair teams have been engaged to repair works.

 

Volyn oblast

On July 29, as a result of harsh weather conditions (thunderstorm, wind gusts) in Gorokhiv district roofs of 3 residential buildings were blown, roofs of 2 residential buildings, 2 buildings of the central district hospital, building of cultural center, of 2 buildings of secondary school, buildings of polyclinic, psychiatric dispensary, district court and repair shops of a motor transport company were partially damage. 4 trees have felled. 12 trees have felled in Lutsk district. There were neither victims nor injured reported. The felled trees were sawn and cleaned by the SESU units. 12 persons and 3 vehicles were engaged.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs July 30, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 68794 and 1673 persons died, namely: Lviv oblast – 9379 (255 persons died), Kyiv city – 8131 (132 persons died), Rivne oblast – 5942 (93 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 5812 (216 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 5078 (183 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 4446 (136 persons died), Volyn oblast – 3735 (84 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 3672 (62 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 3626 (127 persons died), Odesa oblast – 3150 (44 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 2922 (39 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 2698 (50 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 1807 (37 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1394 (27 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 1109 (24 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 919 (37 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 865 (12 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 789 (18 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 779 (21 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 702 (35 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 578 (14 persons died), Sumy oblast – 484 (8 persons died), Poltava oblast – 431 (15 persons died), Kherson oblast – 224 (3 persons died), and Luhansk oblast – 122 (1 person died).  38154 persons were discharged after treatment (Rivne oblast – 4640, Chernivtsi oblast – 4357, Kyiv city – 2877, Volyn oblast – 2724, Kyiv oblast – 2638, Lviv oblast – 2256, Kharkiv oblast – 2109, Vinnytsia oblast – 2015, Zakarpattia oblast – 1980, Ternopil oblast – 1749, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1591, Zhytomyr oblast – 1446, Odesa oblast – 1278, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1088, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 914, Cherkasy oblast – 700, Donetsk oblast – 645, Kirovohrad oblast – 630, Zaporizhia oblast – 591, Chernihiv oblast – 528, Mykolaiv oblast – 440, Sumy oblast – 337, Poltava oblast – 326, Kherson oblast – 201 and Luhansk oblast – 94).

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
