Operative Information as of July 23, 2020

During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions,
1910 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 7 persons rescued, 42 buildings and 6 vehicles saved.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs July 23, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 61851 and 1551 persons died, namely: Lviv oblast – 8462 (216 persons died), Kyiv city – 7278 (128 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 5443 (209 persons died), Rivne oblast – 5303 (91 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 4641 (166 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 3765 (127 persons died), Volyn oblast – 3401 (80 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 3391 (59 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 3203 (120 persons died), Odesa oblast – 2691 (39 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 2548 (36 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 2416 (43 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 1654 (35 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1275 (26 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 1008 (23 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 870 (36 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 818 (11 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 700 (21 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 689 (33 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 667 (15 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 530 (12 persons died), Sumy oblast – 393 (7 persons died), Poltava oblast – 371 (14 persons died), Kherson oblast – 218 (3 persons died), and Luhansk oblast – 116
(1 person died).

34000 persons were discharged after treatment (Rivne oblast – 4095, Chernivtsi oblast – 3775, Kyiv city – 2546, Kyiv oblast – 2465, Volyn oblast – 2354, Lviv oblast – 1903, Vinnytsia oblast – 1868, Kharkiv oblast – 1806, Zakarpattia oblast – 1780, Ternopil oblast – 1620, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1394, Zhytomyr oblast – 1324, Odesa oblast – 1206, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1067, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 860, Cherkasy oblast – 634, Kirovohrad oblast – 619, Zaporizhia oblast – 556, Mykolaiv oblast – 422, Donetsk oblast – 416, Chernihiv oblast – 373, Sumy oblast – 324, Poltava oblast – 315, Kherson oblast – 194, and Luhansk oblast – 84).

FIRE IN ECOSYSTEMS

Luhanska oblast

On July 22, the SES of Ukraine received information that a fire of dry grass, shrubs and wood broke out as a result of the shelling nearby Lopaskine village of Novoaidar district, on the territory of the Trohizbenskiy forestry (quarters 83, 84) on the territory about 20 hectares. There is no threat to settlements.

As of 07:00 on July 23, there are decay of individual cells of dry grass, shrubs and wood within the controlled perimeter. 252 persons and 51 vehicles were involved for the extinguishing, among them 170 persons and 41 vehicles from the SES (including one pyrotechnic calculation).

 Dnipropetrovska oblast

On July 22, the SES of Ukraine received information that near the village Volodymyrivka of Mezhivskyi district, in the field of Niva PGK LLC, there was a fire of wheat at the root. The fire was extinguished by employees of an agricultural enterprise on an area of 20 hectares before the arrival of SES units. 5 persons and 1 vehicle were engaged for the extinguishing from the SES.
