During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions,
1559 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 14 persons rescued, 38 buildings and 3 vehicles saved.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs July 1, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 44998 and 1173 persons died, namely: Lviv oblast – 5578 (146 persons died), Kyiv city – 5138 (108 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 4850 (183 persons died), Rivne oblast – 3784 (70 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 2961 (95 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 2610 (50 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 2438 (101 persons died), Volyn oblast – 2427 (62 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 2169 (83 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 1930 (29 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 1876 (29 persons died), Odesa oblast – 1712 (24 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 1408 (29 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1090 (23 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 805 (18 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 647 (31 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 645 (25 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 572 (17 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 538 (10 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 484 (9 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 447 (10 persons died), Poltava oblast – 319 (13 persons died), Sumy oblast – 297 (5 persons died), Kherson oblast – 193 (3 persons died), and Luhansk oblast – 80.

19548 persons were discharged after treatment (Chernivtsi oblast – 1916, Rivne oblast – 1815, Kyiv city – 1598, Kyiv oblast – 1356, Vinnytsia oblast – 1220, Ternopil oblast – 1160, Kharkiv oblast – 1104, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1098, Zakarpattia oblast – 953, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 926, Zhytomyr oblast – 831, Lviv oblast – 800, Odesa oblast – 737, Volyn oblast – 717, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 548, Kirovohrad oblast – 541, Cherkasy oblast – 474, Zaporizhia oblast – 425, Mykolaiv oblast – 283, Poltava oblast – 270, Sumy oblast – 230, Kherson oblast – 176, Donetsk oblast – 166, Chernihiv oblast – 145, and Luhansk oblast – 59).

Harsh Weather Conditions in Some Oblasts of Ukraine

As of 07.00hrs, July 2 disaster relief assistance works have been continued in the territory of the western regions (Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, and Ternopil oblasts).

In total, three persons died (Ivano-Frankivsk oblast). 12 (used to be 349) settlements (Chernivtsi – 8, Lviv – 2 and Ternopil – 2), 113 houses (used to be 14 456): Ternopil – 101, Chernivtsi – 12), one social and public facility (used to be 18) in Chernivtsi oblast, 159 basements (used to be 7 225): Ivano-Frankivsk – 104, Chernivtsi – 36, Ternopil – 16, Lviv – 3 and 379 household plots (used to be 22 182): Ternopil – 194, Chernivtsi – 171, Ivano-Frankivsk – 12, Lviv – 2 are flooded. 202,5 km of roads (used to be 278) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 201, Chernivtsi – 1,4, Lviv – 0,08) and 95 bridges (used to be 95) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 93, Lviv – 1, Chernivtsi - 1) are destroyed. 549 km of roads (used to be 653) and 212 bridges (used to be 265) are damaged (Ivano-Frankivsk – 507 km of roads and 198 bridges, Chernivtsi – 40,9 km of roads and 14 bridges, Lviv – 0.2 km of roads).

From the beginning of works the SES rescued, evacuated and (resettled) 2523 persons. During the day 28 630 thousand cubic meters of water (from the beginning of works – over 295 thousand 130 cubic meters) have been pumped out, 1 thousand 125 km of roads and 967 m of river beds were cleared (since the beginning of works – 15 km and 4,6 km respectively), food delivered (10 tons from the beginning of works), 7 tons of drinking water delivered (since the beginning 33thsd. 465 litres ) were delivered to the population.

A total of 648 persons and 234 vehicles, including 459 personnel, 167 vehicles and 2 helicopters from the SES of Ukraine, have been engaged in disaster relief operation.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
