Operative Information as of June 30, 2020

During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 1164 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 8 persons rescued, 43 buildings and 2 vehicles saved.

 

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs June 30, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 44334 and 1159 persons died, namely: Lviv oblast – 5435 (146 persons died), Kyiv city – 5037 (108 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 4801 (183 persons died), Rivne oblast – 3712 (70 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 2889 (91 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 2585 (50 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 2395 (101 persons died), Volyn oblast – 2368 (60 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 2134 (80 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 1919 (28 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 1864 (28 persons died), Odesa oblast – 1698 (23 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 1404 (29 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1087 (23 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 803 (17 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 646 (31 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 642 (24 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 572 (17 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 536 (10 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 481 (9 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 444 (10 persons died), Poltava oblast – 314 (13 persons died), Sumy oblast – 297 (5 persons died), Kherson oblast – 191 (3 persons died), and Luhansk oblast – 80.

 

19115 persons were discharged after treatment (Chernivtsi oblast – 1900, Rivne oblast – 1769, Kyiv city – 1563, Kyiv oblast – 1332, Vinnytsia oblast – 1179, Ternopil oblast – 1140, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1098, Kharkiv oblast – 1086, Zakarpattia oblast – 943, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 913, Lviv oblast – 747, Zhytomyr oblast – 746, Odesa oblast – 736, Volyn oblast – 694, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 544, Kirovohrad oblast – 536, Cherkasy oblast – 458, Zaporizhia oblast – 418, Mykolaiv oblast – 281, Poltava oblast – 268, Sumy oblast – 222, Kherson oblast – 176, Donetsk oblast – 163, Chernihiv oblast – 145, and Luhansk oblast – 58).

Harsh Weather Conditions in Some Oblasts of Ukraine

As of 07.00hrs, June 30 there are 35 towns in two oblasts left without electricity supply, namely: 31 towns in Zakarpattia oblast and 4 towns in Volyn oblast. Local electricity supply repair teams have been engaged into repair works.

Disaster relief assistance works have been continued in the territory of the western regions (Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, and Ternopil oblasts).

In total, three persons died (Ivano-Frankivsk oblast).

There are 19 (used to be 349) settlements flooded (Ivano-Frankivsk – 3, Chernivtsi – 11, Lviv – 2, Ternopil – 3); 147 houses flooded (used to be 14 456) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 15, Chernivtsi – 23, Ternopil – 109); 1 social and public facilities flooded (used to be 18); 545 basements flooded (used to be 7 225) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 448, Chernivtsi – 68, Ternopil – 23, Lviv – 6); 982 household plots flooded (used to be 22 182) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 463, Chernivtsi – 311, Ternopil – 206, Lviv - 2); 150,5 km of roads destroyed (used to be 278,2) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 149, Chernivtsi – 1.4, Lviv – 0.08); and 95 bridges destroyed (used to be 95) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 93, Lviv – 1, Chernivtsi - 1); 551 km of roads and 214 bridges damaged (used to be 653 and 265 respectively) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 510 km of roads and 200 bridges, Lviv – 0.2 km of roads, Chernivtsi – 40,8 km of roads and 14 bridges).

The SES units pumped out 48 000 cubic meters of water (since the beginning of works – more than 230 000 cubic meters); 0.22 km of roads and 0.23 km of river beds were cleared (since the beginning of works – 9.87 km and 3.55 km respectively); 1 300 kg of food (9 928 kg from the beginning of works) were delivered to the population.

A total of 542 persons and 224 vehicles have been engaged in disaster relief operation, including 465 personnel, 195 vehicles and 2 helicopters from the SES of Ukraine.

Fires in Ecosystems

Mykolaiv Oblast

On June 29, 15.55hrs, the SES of Ukraine received information about a fire of growing barley on the field of LLC “Nibulon” close to the village of Lotskyne of Bashtanka district. The fire has been extinguished at 16.35hrs. There were neither victims nor injured reported. The fire destroyed the growing barley on the area 23.5 ha. 5 personnel and a vehicle from the SES of Ukraine have been engaged to fire extinguishing.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
