Operative Information as of June 29, 2020

During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions,
1083 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 9 persons rescued, 60 buildings and 5 vehicles saved.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs June 29, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 43628 and 1147 persons died, namely: Lviv oblast – 5292 (143 persons died), Kyiv city – 4980 (108 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 4745 (182 persons died), Rivne oblast – 3638 (68 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 2792 (87 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 2546 (50 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 2350 (101 persons died), Volyn oblast – 2312 (60 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 2098 (80 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 1913 (28 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 1846 (28 persons died), Odesa oblast – 1632 (21 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 1404 (29 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1087 (23 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 798 (17 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 646 (31 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 642 (24 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 570 (17 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 535 (10 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 481 (9 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 442 (10 persons died), Poltava oblast – 312 (13 persons died), Sumy oblast – 296 (5 persons died), Kherson oblast – 191 (3 persons died), and Luhansk oblast – 80.

 

19027 persons were discharged after treatment (Chernivtsi oblast – 1889, Rivne oblast – 1752, Kyiv city – 1552, Kyiv oblast – 1318, Vinnytsia oblast – 1179, Ternopil oblast – 1139, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1096, Kharkiv oblast – 1070, Zakarpattia oblast – 943, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 913, Zhytomyr oblast – 746, Lviv oblast – 741, Odesa oblast – 736, Volyn oblast – 693, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 543, Kirovohrad oblast – 535, Cherkasy oblast – 454, Zaporizhia oblast – 418, Mykolaiv oblast – 281, Poltava oblast – 268, Sumy oblast – 219, Kherson oblast – 176, Donetsk oblast – 163, Chernihiv oblast – 145, and Luhansk oblast – 58).

Harsh Weather Conditions in Some Oblasts of Ukraine

As of 07.00hrs, June 29 there are 103 towns in 4 oblasts left without electricity supply: 60 towns in Sumy oblast, 21 towns in Kyiv oblast, 20 towns in Chernigiv oblast and 2 in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. Local electricity supply repair teams have been engaged into repair works.

Disaster relief assistance works have been continued in the territory of the western regions (Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, and Ternopil oblasts). In total, three persons died
(Ivano-Frankivsk oblast).

There are 70 (used to be 349) settlements flooded (Ivano-Frankivsk – 42, Chernivtsi – 19, Lviv – 2, Ternopil – 7); 550 houses flooded (used to be 14 456) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 267, Chernivtsi – 163, Ternopil – 120); 1 social and public facilities flooded (used to be 18); 831 basements flooded (used to be 7 225) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 574, Chernivtsi – 217, Ternopil – 34, Lviv – 6); 1898 household plots flooded (used to be 22 182) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 1008, Chernivtsi – 679, Ternopil – 209, Lviv - 2); 150,5 km of roads destroyed (used to be 278,2) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 149, Chernivtsi – 1.4, Lviv – 0.08); and 83 bridges destroyed (95 from the beginning) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 81, Lviv – 1, Chernivtsi - 1); 582 km of roads and 220 bridges damaged (used to be 653 and 265 respectively) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 541 km of roads and 206 bridges, Lviv – 0.2 km of roads, Chernivtsi – 40,8 km of roads and 14 bridges).

The SES units saved and evacuated (2523 persons since the beginning of works), 32 904 cubic meters of water were pumped out (since the beginning of works - 183 244 cubic meters); 120 kg of food (8628 kg from the beginning of works) and 750 litres of potable water (25315 litres from the beginning of works) were delivered to the population.

A total of 774 persons and 291 vehicles have been engaged in disaster relief operation, including 467 personnel, 193 vehicles and 2 helicopters from the SES of Ukraine.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
