Operative Information as of June 28, 2020

During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions,
1339 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 7 persons rescued, 51 buildings and 5 vehicles saved.

 

Harsh Weather Conditions in Some Oblasts of Ukraine

As of 07.00hrs, June 28 there are 11 towns in two oblasts still left without electricity supply: 9 towns in Zakarpattia oblast, and 2 towns in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. Local electricity supply repair teams have been engaged into repair works.

Disaster relief assistance works have been continued in the territory of the western regions (Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, and Ternopil oblasts). In total, three persons died (Ivano-Frankivsk oblast).

There are 95 (used to be 349) settlements flooded (Ivano-Frankivsk – 55, Chernivtsi – 20, Lviv – 13, Ternopil – 7); 1364 houses flooded (used to be 14 428) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 1038, Chernivtsi – 218, Ternopil – 108); 2 social and public facilities flooded (used to be 18); 1588 basements flooded (used to be 7 233) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 1180, Chernivtsi – 336, Ternopil – 51, Lviv – 12); 2795 household plots flooded (used to be 22 182) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 1619, Chernivtsi – 907, Ternopil – 263, Lviv - 6); 150,5 km of roads destroyed (used to be 278,2) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 149, Chernivtsi – 1.4, Lviv – 0.08); and 83 bridges destroyed (95 from the beginning) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 81, Lviv – 1, Chernivtsi - 1); 582 km of roads and 259 bridges damaged (used to be 653 and 265 respectively) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 541 km of roads and 202 bridges, Lviv – 0.2 km of roads, Chernivtsi – 40,8 km of roads and 14 bridges).

During the day, 62 persons were evacuated by the SES (1656 persons since the beginning of works), 47 569 cubic meters of water were pumped out (since the beginning of works - 150 340 cubic meters); 450 kg of food (7858 kg from the beginning of works) and 8700 litres of potable water (24065 litres from the beginning of works) were delivered to the population.

A total of 1047 persons and 595 vehicles have been engaged in disaster relief operation, including 216 personnel, 339 vehicles and 2 helicopters from the SES of Ukraine.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs June 28, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 42982 and 1129 persons died, namely: Lviv oblast – 5177 (137 persons died), Kyiv city – 4935 (106 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 4686 (180 persons died), Rivne oblast – 3568 (66 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 2726 (84 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 2506 (49 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 2300 (101 persons died), Volyn oblast – 2228 (60 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 2082 (78 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 1893 (28 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 1833 (28 persons died), Odesa oblast – 1601 (21 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 1396 (29 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1087 (23 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 791 (17 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 646 (31 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 642 (24 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 568 (17 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 526 (10 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 479 (9 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 436 (10 persons died), Poltava oblast – 310 (13 persons died), Sumy oblast – 295 (5 persons died), Kherson oblast – 191 (3 persons died), and Luhansk oblast – 80.

18934 persons were discharged after treatment (Chernivtsi oblast – 1876, Rivne oblast – 1738, Kyiv city – 1547, Kyiv oblast – 1288, Vinnytsia oblast – 1179, Ternopil oblast – 1131, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1096, Kharkiv oblast – 1065, Zakarpattia oblast – 943, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 913, Zhytomyr oblast – 746, Lviv oblast – 741, Odesa oblast – 725, Volyn oblast – 693, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 541, Kirovohrad oblast – 531, Cherkasy oblast – 454, Zaporizhia oblast – 417, Mykolaiv oblast – 281, Poltava oblast – 268, Sumy oblast – 219, Kherson oblast – 176, Donetsk oblast – 163, Chernihiv oblast – 145, and Luhansk oblast – 58).

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
