Operative Information as of June 26, 2020

During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 1831 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 2 persons rescued, 39 buildings and 8 vehicles saved.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs June 26, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 41117 and 1086 persons died, namely: Lviv oblast – 4836 (126 persons died), Kyiv city – 4726 (102 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 4582 (178 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 2547 (73 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 2373 (48 persons died), Rivne oblast – 3364 (66 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 2217 (99 persons died), Volyn oblast – 2096 (59 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 1993 (74 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 1857 (27 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 1788 (28 persons died), Odesa oblast – 1529 (21 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 1366 (27 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1081 (23 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 724 (15 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 640 (31 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 627 (23 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 561 (17 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 514 (10 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 412 (9 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 384 (9 persons died), Poltava oblast – 304 (13 persons died), Sumy oblast – 284 (5 persons died), Kherson oblast – 190 (3 persons died), and Luhansk oblast – 76.

 

18299 persons were discharged after treatment (Chernivtsi oblast – 1800, Rivne oblast – 1682, Kyiv city – 1489, Kyiv oblast – 1236, Vinnytsia oblast – 1091, Ternopil oblast – 1109, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1091, Kharkiv oblast – 1021, Zakarpattia oblast – 917, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 903, Lviv oblast – 725, Zhytomyr oblast – 719, Volyn oblast – 681, Odesa oblast – 637, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 526, Kirovohrad oblast – 525, Cherkasy oblast – 439, Zaporizhia oblast – 405, Mykolaiv oblast – 278, Poltava oblast – 268, Sumy oblast – 203, Kherson oblast – 175, Donetsk oblast – 159, Chernihiv oblast – 145, and Luhansk oblast – 55).

Harsh Weather Conditions in Some Oblasts of Ukraine

As of 07.00hrs, June 26 there are 7 towns in two oblasts still left without electricity supply, namely: Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 6 towns and Chernivtsi oblast – 1 town. Local electricity supply repair teams have been engaged to repair works.

Intensive rains during June 22-24 resulted in a complicated flash flood situation in Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, and Ternopil oblasts.

In total, three persons died (Ivano-Frankivsk oblast).

There were 262 (342 from the beginning) settlements flooded (Ivano-Frankivsk – 202, Chernivtsi – 45, Lviv – 11, Ternopil – 4), 7 731 houses flooded (14 471 from the beginning) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 6 653, Chernivtsi – 1 049, Lviv – , Ternopil – 118), 13 (17 from the beginning) social and public facilities flooded; 4 553 (7 100 from the beginning) basements flooded (Ivano-Frankivsk – 3 694, Chernivtsi – 763, Ternopil – 60, Lviv – 36), 12 411 household plots flooded (22 025 from the beginning) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 8 579, Chernivtsi – 3 543, Ternopil – 262, Lviv - 27), 154 km (342 from the beginning) of roads (Ivano-Frankivsk – 152, Chernivtsi – 1.4, Lviv – 0.2) and 57 bridges destroyed (123 from the beginning) (Ivano-Frankivsk – 122 and Lviv – 1), 598 km (655 from the beginning) of roads and 172 (215 from the beginning) bridges damaged (Ivano-Frankivsk – 550 km of roads and 148 bridges, Lviv – 0.2 km of roads, Chernivtsi – 47.8 km of roads and 17 bridges); 280m of dams (№ 15b – 150 m; № 21A – 60 m; №5 – 70 m, №9 – 370m) in Chernivtsi oblast.

A total of 1225 persons and 403 vehicles have been engaged in disaster relief operation, including 570 personnel, 225 vehicles and 2 helicopters from the SES of Ukraine.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast
