During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions,
1863 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 5 persons rescued, 43 buildings and 4 vehicles saved.

Harsh Weather Conditions in Some Oblasts of Ukraine

Intensive rains during June 22-24 resulted in a complicated flash flood situation in Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Lviv, Zakarpattia, and Ternopil oblasts. Three persons died (in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast).

In total, there were 285 settlements flooded (Ivano-Frankivsk - 234, Chernivtsi - 37, Lviv - 12, Ternopil - 2), 9 994 houses flooded (Ivano-Frankivsk - 9157, Chernivtsi - 728, Lviv – 72, Ternopil - 37), 9 social and public facilities flooded; 3 340 basements flooded (Ivano-Frankivsk - 2553, Chernivtsi - 712, Lviv - 75), 13 390 household plots flooded (Ivano-Frankivsk - 11337, Chernivtsi - 1895, Lviv - 131, Ternopil - 27), 117 km of roads destroyed (Ivano-Frankivsk – 116, Chernivtsi – 1), and 64 bridges in Ivano-Frankivsk region, 500 km of roads and 135 bridges (Ivano-Frankivsk – 487 km of roads and 118 bridges, Lviv – 2 km of roads, Chernivtsi – 12 km of roads and 17 bridges); 280 of dams (№ 15b - 150 m; № 21A - 60 m; №5 - 70 m) in Chernivtsi region.

A total of 1643 personnel and 469 vehicles have been engaged in disaster relief operation, including 656 personnel, 123 vehicles and 2 helicopters from the SES of Ukraine

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs June 25, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 40008 and 1067 persons died, namely: Lviv oblast – 4627 (123 persons died), Kyiv city – 4613 (101 persons died), Chernivtsi oblast – 4531 (177 persons died), Rivne oblast – 3248 (64 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 2454 (70 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 2373 (48 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 2171 (98 persons died), Volyn oblast – 2024 (57 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 1947 (71 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 1815 (27 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 1753 (28 persons died), Odesa oblast – 1465 (21 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 1337 (26 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1069 (23 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 645 (15 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 636 (31 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 616 (22 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 561 (17 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 506 (10 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 399 (8 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 377 (9 persons died), Poltava oblast – 301 (13 persons died), Sumy oblast – 277 (5 persons died), Kherson oblast – 188 (3 persons died), and Luhansk oblast – 75.

17758 persons were discharged after treatment (Chernivtsi oblast – 1763, Rivne oblast – 1623, Kyiv city – 1473, Kyiv oblast – 1185, Ternopil oblast – 1102, Vinnytsia oblast – 1091, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1083, Kharkiv oblast – 977, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 893, Zakarpattia oblast – 864, Lviv oblast – 712, Zhytomyr oblast – 688, Volyn oblast – 605, Odesa oblast – 569, Kirovohrad oblast – 524, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 515, Cherkasy oblast – 431, Zaporizhia oblast – 401, Mykolaiv oblast – 273, Poltava oblast – 267, Sumy oblast – 195, Kherson oblast – 175, Donetsk oblast – 150, Chernihiv oblast – 145, and Luhansk oblast – 54).

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
