Operative Information as of June 20, 2020

During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions,
1633 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 5 persons rescued, 52 buildings and 5 vehicles saved.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs June 20, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 35825 and 994 persons died, namely: Chernivtsi oblast – 4268 (171 persons died), Kyiv city – 4252 (97 persons died), Lviv oblast – 3679 (111 persons died), Rivne oblast – 2766 (55 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 2174 (46 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 2069 (54 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1981 (95 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 1779 (68 persons died), Volyn oblast – 1743 (52 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 1643 (27 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 1627 (28 persons died), Odesa oblast – 1232 (19 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 1229 (21 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1036 (23 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 612 (30 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 612 (14 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 592 (21 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 551 (16 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 467 (10 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 355 (8 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 349 (7 persons died), Poltava oblast – 290 (13 persons died), Sumy oblast – 252 (5 persons died), Kherson oblast – 185 (3 persons died), and Luhansk oblast – 72.

 

16406 persons were discharged after treatment (Chernivtsi oblast – 1534, Rivne oblast – 1500, Kyiv city – 1391, Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1071, Ternopil oblast – 1054, Kyiv oblast – 1053, Vinnytsia oblast – 991, Zakarpattia oblast – 842, Kharkiv oblast – 837, Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 776, Lviv oblast – 668, Zhytomyr oblast – 633, Odesa oblast – 551, Volyn oblast – 548, Kirovohrad oblast – 508, Khmelnytskyi oblast – 477, Cherkasy oblast – 392, Zaporizhia oblast – 391, Mykolaiv oblast – 265, Poltava oblast – 262, Sumy oblast – 178, Kherson oblast – 174, Donetsk oblast – 145, Chernihiv oblast – 112, and Luhansk oblast – 53).

Harsh Weather Conditions in Some Oblasts of Ukraine

As of 07.00hrs June 20, as a result of harsh weather conditions (rain and wind gusts) and due to automatic electricity protection systems, there are 179 towns in 4 oblasts left without electricity supply, namely: 101 towns in Chernihiv oblast, 49 towns in Kyiv oblast, 23 towns in Sumy oblast, and 6 towns in Zhytomyr oblast. Local electricity repair teams have been engaged in repair works.

During June 19 as a result of harsh weather conditions in three oblasts (Chernihiv, Poltava, Kharkiv) there were roofs of 21 buildings damaged (as well as village council building), 22 trees fell down, the roofs of 24 residential buildings and the canopy of the stadium were partially damaged (Start Stadium, Myrhorod, Poltava Region). The SES units removed and sawn the fallen trees. There were 43 persons and 11 vehicles engaged for works, among them 37 persons and 9 vehicles engaged from the SES.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

A fire took place on the territory of "Central Market" on the Serafimovicha street, 84 in the city of Kryvyi Rih  at 22.37hrs of February, 19. The units of the SESU extinguished the fire at 00.40hrs. There were neither victims nor injured reported. The fire destroyed 22 trade pavilions with food and household goods on an area of 240 m2 (total market area almost 8 thsd. m2). 17 persons and 3 vehicles were engaged from SESU to extinguishing fire.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast
