During the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 1743 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 7 persons rescued, 43 buildings and 6 vehicles saved.

Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ukraine

According to information from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, as of 10.00hrs May 22, the total number of COVID-19 cases registered in Ukraine is 20148 and 588 persons died, namely: Chernivtsi oblast – 2905 (119 persons died), Kyiv city – 2522 (58 persons died), Kyiv oblast – 1344 (30 persons died), Rivne oblast – 1323 (29 persons died), Ivano-Frankivsk oblast – 1268 (73 persons died), Lviv oblast – 1240 (33 persons died), Ternopil oblast – 1105 (23 persons died), Zakarpattia oblast – 1003 (24 persons died), Kharkiv oblast – 866 (33 persons died), Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 859 (13 persons died), Vinnytsia oblast – 824 (14 persons died), Odesa oblast – 814 (14 persons died), Volyn oblast – 740 (21 persons died), Zhytomyr oblast – 607 (13 persons died), Kirovohrad oblast – 460 (22 persons died), Zaporizhia oblast – 401 (11 persons died), Cherkasy oblast – 383 (16 persons died), Khmelnytskyi oblast – 299 (9 persons died), Mykolaiv Oblast – 277 (7 persons died), Poltava oblast – 266 (10 persons died), Kherson oblast – 173 (2 persons died), Sumy oblast – 166 (4 persons died), Donetsk oblast – 141 (4 persons died), Chernihiv oblast – 119 (6 persons died) and Luhansk oblast – 43.

Uncategorized Emergency

Odesa oblast

On May 21, the SES of Ukraine received information about fractial collapse of wooden gallery of two-storey living house (built in 1920, unsafe, partially resettled) with 22 apartments. There were neither victims nor injured reported. 35 persons live in the house. 5 persons have been resettled from two apartments. 33 persons and 12 vehicles, including 17 personnel and 5 vehicles from the SES of Ukraine have been engaged to relief works in total.
