The 17th International Exhibition Forum "Protection Technologies/PozhTech-2018" is taking place in Kiev

On October 9, the 17th International Exhibition Forum "Protection Technologies / PozhTech-2018" started in Kyiv on the territory of the International Exhibition Center. During the week, qualified specialists in the field of civil protection, fire and technological safety will be able to demonstrate their own developments and innovative technologies.

As part of the exhibition, Deputy Chairman of the SES of Ukraine Ruslan Biloshytskyi opened the plenary session of the 20th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern state of civil protection of Ukraine and prospects of development". He wished the participants of the conference fruitful and constructive work.

Ruslan Biloshytsky also inspected the exhibitions presented at the International Exhibition Center for the leading domestic and foreign developers and manufacturers in the field of fire protection, technogenic safety, labor safety, emergency and rescue equipment and personal protective equipment.

In addition, the Deputy Head of the Service got acquainted with the exposition of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Civil Protection. The head of the institute Vitaliy Kropivnitskyi has reported on the latest technologies developed by UkrCPRI scientists. In particular, a fire extinguisher of a pressure type with spray nozzles, a technology for cleaning the surface of water and soil from petroleum products, the analogue of which is not in the world. Also, the head of the institute presented the book "Firefighters. History of firefight in the territory of modern Ukraine ".

On October 10, the second day of the Exhibition Forum was started, during which are planed round table on the topic "Exploration of fires: the current state and prospects of development", the seminar "Using cloud computing technologies for informing and alerting the population about emergencies", and also will continue its work the 20th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern state of civil defense of Ukraine and prospects of development".
