During the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to the United States, Oleg Melchutsky, First Deputy Chairman of the SESU, became acquainted with the work of Camp Roberts Training Center of the National Guard of California.
According to the First Deputy Minister of Interior Serhiy Yarovoy, who heads the Ukrainian delegation, Camp Roberts is an example of an entirely autonomous training facility.
"The experience of the Californian Guards is valuable in developing the infrastructure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs units and developing an effective program for their preparation," he said.
Serhiy Yarovyy also noted that at the moment the Ministry of Internal Affairs creates a similar center in Ukraine.
"For the past several years, the development of such a center in Ukraine is actively moving forward. It is created on the basis of the international training center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs near Kiev. There will be training guards, policemen, rescuers "- said the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs.
