From the beginning of 2018, the pyrotechnics of the SES of Ukrainian have seized and disposed more than 1200 explosive devices

Pyrotechnic units of the SES of Ukraine carry out every day work on examination of the territory of the country, detection, removal and disposal of explosive devices both remnants of war and modern weapons. Only during the past three days there were seized and disposed 683 explosive devices.
 
In particular, on January 6, pyrotechnics of the emergency rescue unit of the special assignment of the Main Department of the SES in Khmelnytsky oblast have destroyed in a specially designated place 122 mm caliber artillery projectile of the Second World War. The explosive device was detected on the eve in the regional center on Polova street by the local residents.

At the same time, in Chernihiv oblast, on January 8, specialists of the group of pyrotechnic works disposed 38 artillery projectiles of the same caliber, which were detected in an open area near Vertiyivka village, Nizhyn district. 7 projectiles were found a day earlier by a local resident, who immediately informed rescuers about his finding. Another 31 artillery projectiles were detected by specialists of the group of pyrotechnic works and underwater demining during an additional survey of the adjoining area.

In addition, the work on humanitarian demining of the liberated territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions continues.

For example, in the Lugansk oblast during the past 24hrs, there were detected and seized 30 explosive devices.

At the same time, in the Donetsk oblast, pyrotechnic units surveyed 3,57 hectares of territory, where more than a hundred explosive devices were detected and seized.

Therefore, in order to prevent accidents in the case of detection of explosive devices, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine again appeals to citizens to adhere to the rules of safe handling of explosive devices or unknown objects!

Remember that in the case of detection of explosive devices, you must immediately inform about itby telephone number "101" or "102", and inany case, do not try to identify and dispose munitions that were found by yourself.
