A training for rescuers of the SESU on providing premedical assistance to the victims of traffic accidents started in Kyiv City
A joint training for the units of the SES of Ukraine on providing premedical assistance and skill training on elimination of the consequences of traffic accidents on special light-duty emergency-rescue vehicles (SARM-L) started at the Institute of Public Administration in the sphere of civil protection in Kyiv City on January, 15. The training course was organized with the support of German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the framework of implementation of the Project «International Support for Ukraine in Emergency Management”.
Rescuers ask parents to take care of the safety of their children
Currently, most regions of Ukraine still have winter holidays, so the learning process will be restored only from next week.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, the rescuers conduct training sessions with the educators on life safety issues, as well as check the state of the fire-fighting maintenance in schools and kindergartens of the country.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast: a present to Dolyna fire-fighters – fire vehicle
On January 11, a solemn meeting with Polish delegation headed by Henryk Lakva – Opole County Head and Krzysztof Wysdak – a member of Opole Board, as well as with Polish fire-fighters took place within the framework of international cooperation between the community of Dolyna Town and Dolynskyi District and Opole County of the Republic of Poland.
From the beginning of 2018, the pyrotechnics of the SES of Ukrainian have seized and disposed more than 1200 explosive devices
Pyrotechnic units of the SES of Ukraine carry out every day work on examination of the territory of the country, detection, removal and disposal of explosive devices both remnants of war and modern weapons. Only during the past three days there were seized and disposed 683 explosive devices.
In particular, on January 6, pyrotechnics of the emergency rescue unit of the special assignment of the Main Department of the SES in Khmelnytsky oblast have destroyed in a specially designated place 122 mm caliber artillery projectile of the Second World War. The explosive device was detected on the eve in the regional center on Polova street by the local residents.

Rescuers of Lugansk oblast received new machinery and equipment
On December 26, on the eve of the New Year's holidays, rescuers of Lugansk oblast received new machinery and equipment from the regional leadership and the SES of Ukraine.
In the solemn events that took place this day at the training ground of the regional department of the SES in Severodonetsk, took part the Head of the Luhansk Oblast State Administration Yuriy Garbuz, deputy chairman of the SES of Ukraine Ruslan Biloshitsky, the main rescuer of Lugansk oblast Igor Savelyev, and the personnel of the administration.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast: Rescuers of search and rescue unit Yavarnik learned to work with modern rescue equipment in Poland
During the period December 12 - 18, the 4th special search and rescue group (Yavirnyk village) of the special search and rescue unit of the emergency rescue unit of Department of the SES of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast took part in training on the basis of the Bieschad group in the Podkarpackie Voivodship of the Republic of Poland within the framework of the project "Strengthening the crisis management system in Ivano-Frankivsk oblast by improving the operational skills and competence of rescue services in the area of rescue in case of avalanches and rescue actions using ropes. "

On December 15, the Lviv State University of Life Safety had 102 graduates from the educational institution who received the diplomas of the highest educational level.
