For the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 1575 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
As the result of the undertaken measures there were 7 persons rescued, 77 buildings and 2 vehicles saved.

A fire took place at two-story building that was under reconstruction in the Pechersk district on the Lavrska street 23 at 16.17hrs on January 14. The building is a part of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Reserve complex and belongs to the architectural monuments of Ukraine. Units of the SESU extinguished fire in the area of 400 square meters at 20.07hrs . There were neither victims nor injured reported.
