For the recent 24hrs, as preventive measures, minimization of other emergency consequences, fire-fighting and cleaning areas from the old munitions, 1625 interventions have been made by the emergency response units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

As the result of the undertaken measures there were 13 persons rescued,
90 buildings and 5 vehicles saved.

5 persons have been taken to the hospital as a result of an explosion (of methane-air mixture) with following fire that took place on the depth of 330m in the mine named for Heroes of Space of PJSC “DTEK Pavlohradvuhillia” in the village of Verbky of Pavlohrad district at 21.18hrs, January 10. There were no casualties reported. 182 miners have been brought to the surface. The work of mine has been stopped. 10 units of the State Military Mine Rescue Service of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining have been engaged to emergency rescue works.

Levels of Radiation in the City of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast

The radiation levels are stable. They do not exceed the norms in the ground and in the water.
